Fire station site for west Joplin to be discussed

A recommendation for a site for a new fire station on the west side of Joplin will be heard tonight by the Joplin City Council. Fire Chief Gary Trulson has recommended that the station be built along Central City Road, and there are several possibilities there between 20th and 32nd streets.
